Applies to both left- and right-hand check rails. A 2-sash slide-by window, since it meets only one operable sash at a single check rail, requires one sash pin; a 3-sash window, with two check rails, requires two sash pins.
Secure to sash with two #7 x 7/8 in. Type A Flat Phillips Wood Screws (#15746).
