Type III Shoot-Bolt Top Gears (#GU1008)
This hardware locks the Type III inactive panel through the head jamb.
Since lifting the door handle causes the shoot bolt to lock downward through the sill, this reversing gear is necessary to throw the bolt at the top. It may be connected to the locking system via an extension depending on the height of the panel.
