Sash Retainers (#3508)
The retainer fits into a kerf on the closed sash to help guide it into place and prevent warping. The same part applies to awning windows and both left- and right-hand casement windows.

- Sash retainers are standard hardware for casements at least 36 in. high, for awnings at least 36 in. wide, or upon request for smaller units
- All impact-resistant awnings must have three sash retainers on the top rail, regardless of the window's dimensions
- Not for use in casements with piano hinges or egress hardware
- Secure to frame with two #8 x 5/8 in. Type A Oval Phillips Wood Screws (#40120)
