Comments

  • Hinge available only in 6 ft. lengths. Cut to size.
  • To calculate the length of the hinge for a standard or French casement, subtract 1-11/16 in. from the height of the frame. For example, if your frame is 40 in. tall, trim the hinge to 38-5/16 in. (40.000 - 1.688 = 38.312).
  • To calculate the length of the hinge for a radius casement, subtract 5/32 in. from the height of the sash cladding.
  • Secure to the sash with Stainless Steel #6 x 1-1/4 in. Type A Flat Phillips Wood Screws (#21983) and to the hinge jamb with #7 x 5/8 in. Type A Flat Phillips Wood Screws (#15331). Place one screw into the bottom hole on the jamb side and then one screw into every other hole, with the alternate screws in the sash. Make sure that the uppermost hole in the sash always has a screw.
  • Apply closed cell foam to inner hinge-jamb side.
  • May be used with left- and right-hand units.
