The length of the support arm corresponds to the height of the awning window:

Frame Height	Support Arm Length
< 20 in.	10 in.
≥ 20 in. and < 30 in.	18 in.
≥ 30 in.	22 in.

Then, each awning requires both a left-hand arm for the left side of the sash and a right-hand arm for the right side (as viewed from the exterior).
