These wood pieces run inside the sliding-door frame for the top and side interior perimeter of the stationary sliding-door panel(s).

Do not confuse this wood part with the aluminum head parting stop that goes on the exterior of the active panel. Also see the interior head stop that serves as trim on the head guide track.
