Billiard Green Painted A754 Brickmold Casings (#14256)

This elegant trim matches or complements your cladding color to complete the historic design of your window or door. Surround the frame with brickmold or combine with sill nosing.

A754 casing is primarily sold as part of a package that includes the nailing fins and connector. You can also purchase an installation kit complete with end caps, weather strip and all the hardware you'll need for jobsite installation.

It connects to the accessory groove by means of a trim connector and to the rough opening and the side of the frame with nailing fins.

Comments

  • Insert a foam seal into each end
  • Caulk with silicone sealant as directed in the installation instructions
  • In right-angle units, trim corners at 45° miter
  • Cut bottom at 8° towards the interior if jamb brickmold meets sill nosing
  • Place two corner keys into the outer edges of the brickmold at each joint and one corner key into the exterior slot to brace the sill nosing
  • Apply a corner pad over nailing fins
  • Cover the head casing with a drip cap if needed
