Right-Hand 10 in. Hinge Tracks (#7697)
Hinge tracks attach to the frame of a window to receive the casement hinge arms or awning support arms.
In most cases, each operating unit requires two hinge tracks, a left- and right-hand model:
- If the sash of a left-hand casement is suspended with hinge arms, apply a left-hand hinge track to the sill and a right-hand hinge track to the head. In the case of a right-hand casement, the right-hand hinge track goes on the sill and the left-hand hinge track on the head.
- Assuming standard awning left and right lock jambs, the left-hand hinge track is applied to the left stile of the frame (as viewed from the exterior) and the right-hand hinge track to the right stile.
Benefits
- Stainless-steel hinges and hinge tracks provide maximum corrosion resistance and durability
- Standard hinges are invisible from the interior and exterior when the window is closed
