5 in. Primed Finger-jointed Pine Double-Hung Interior Mullion Casings (#11159)

This wooden trim conceals the mullion between a double-hung window and any of the following:

  • Another double-hung to its side
  • A casement to its side, above it, or below it
  • An auxiliary to its side, above it, or below it

In order words, this part applies to all vertical mullions with any double-hung unit. It also applies to horizontal mullions only when one of the windows is not a double-hung profile. For this exception, such as a double-hung transom above a single-hung window, see double-hung horizontal combination interior mullion casings.

After the wood species and finish, the distinguishing specification for the mull cover is its width. The default zero mull is 1½ in. wide, so to determine the width you need, add 1.5 in. to the mullion spread. For example, if you have a 0.5 in. wide structural mull, order a 2 in. wide mull cover.

Benefits

  • Eagle wood components are treated with a preservative and insect repellent, dried, then finished with your choice of factory-applied stain and sealant or basecoat
  • Available in nine wood species
