This piece attaches flush with the sash inside the right lock jamb of an awning window (the right jamb as viewed from the exterior, the left stop as viewed from the interior). It is milled to allow the concealed lock bar to function.

To calculate the length of the sash stop for an awning window, subtract 2-5/8 in. from the height of the frame. For example, if your frame is 36 in. tall, order a 33-3/8 in. side stop (36.000 - 2.625 = 33.375).
