Outswing French Door Handing
Outswing French door panels and side jambs are considered left-hand or right-hand, depending on the position of the handle, as viewed from the exterior. (An exception is inswing French doors, which are handed from the interior.)
In some cases, the parts applied to a door are specific to its handing. The following charts demonstrate how handing is determined in all common outswing door configurations:
