Sliding Door Handing
Eagle describes sliding doors in terms of the location of the panels, as viewed from the exterior of the window. "X" denotes an operable door panel, and "O" stationary.
For 2-panel models, the handing is called either OX or XO:
In most cases, the parts for the XO and OX doors are the same. The Element uses a single OX sliding French door for the 2-panel example and emphasizes any differences based on handing.
Another common configuration is to mull a stationary sidelite to a 2-panel door, and the 3-panel handing is then considered OX-O or O-XO, as in the following example:
Finally, biparting (4-panel) sliding doors are always handed OXXO:
