5-1/2 in. Adjustable Tilt-Latch Arms (#9577)
When the lower sash is open, turning the locks to "Wash" releases the tilt-latch arms.
The length of the arms is determined by the width of the double-hung:
Each operating double-hung requires two tilt-latch arms, which are interchangeable with left- and right-hand locks.
Benefits
- Spring-loaded latches minimize potential damage to the window frame during closure
